The carpentry at Starpool
Artisan tradition and innovation for production excellence.
In January 2025, Starpool took an important step on its journey of growth: the incorporation of the carpentry as in-house production department. This evolution is the result of the acquisition of Ellegieffe Arredamento, which solidified a partnership started in 1996.
The integration of the carpentry is the natural development of a partnership where, over almost three decades, the two companies worked side by side to develop innovative and high-quality collections. This union doesn’t only strengthen Starpool’s manufacturing know-how, but also paves the way for new opportunities to meet the needs of an ever-growing market more effectively. The new carpentry department stands out thanks to its versatility in using materials and in customising products. In 2024, for instance, saunas clad in 24 different types of wood were realised, with dimensions varying from two to 93 square meters, for a total of 110 manufactured units with a total surface of 893 square metres.
Each phase of the production process – from the selection of the wood to the detailed design, until the assembly and the meticulous quality checks – is carried out with utmost care to ensure products that combine aesthetics, function and durability over time. In the months following the integration, a project for the optimisation of layouts, logistics and department organisation was launched, with the goal to increase productivity and efficiency, while improving personnel satisfaction.
This initiative aims to create an operational model that can also be extended to external suppliers, fundamental to meet the growing demand of the market. For us at Starpool, the incorporation of the carpentry is a strategic stepping stone towards a future of innovation and quality, in line with our commitment in supplying wellness solutions that are more and more customised and innovative.
